Telecom Dispute Settlement and Administrative Tribunal (TDSAT)

Interns are expected to follow the proceedings of the Court, provide research inputs, and undertake other tasks that may be assigned to them. Internships at the TDSAT will provide students with an opportunity to expand their knowledge in the telecommunications, broadcasting and cable sectors and to understand the present regulatory framework. They will also benefit from an understanding of the working of the TDSAT, its procedures and dispute resolution mechanism, especially in regard to creating consumer awareness in these sectors.

DURATION: 6 Weeks (Maximum)

STIPEND: No

ELIGIBILITY AND PROCEDURE

Applications will have to be forwarded through the Registrar / Director / Head of the Institute. Only students who are enrolled on a full-time basis, in an integrated 5 year integrated law course as prescribed by Bar Council of India at an accredited institution / 4 year full time course at IITs/Premier Technical Institutions / full time MBA course at IIMs/premier institution, and are interested in gaining knowledge in the above said sectors with particular reference to regulatory framework and adjudicatory mechanism, are eligible to apply. Candidates are advised that their applications should reach the Tribunal at least one month in advance before they propose to undertake the internship.
