NHRC Short-term Internship Programme Throughout The Year

National Human Rights Commission Besides its regular summer and winter internship programme which are held in May-June and December-January every year, the NHRC also offers offers opportunities throughout the year to students from various streams, especially from law stream, to have attachment with the Commission in batches on short-term basis for a period extending from 15 days to 01 month. During this internship, the students are exposed to the functioning of various divisions of the Commission. They are also made aware of the process of complaints being attended to by the Commission as well as other issues being taken up. Allowing them interaction with the complainants also is an important feature.

Applications are invited from students for Short-Term Internship as per the above guidelines. Interested students may send their applications along with following documents

1. Detailed request with specific dates for internship.
2. Complete Bio-data.
3. Recommendation letter from the University/Institute/College.

    I am doing my masters in Social Sciences. I have seen this opening very newly. Can I apply to the above internship as I have semester holidays from 13th December to 10th January? or is it too late.
