ABOUT SUMMER PLACEMENTS
The summer placements afford an opportunity to domestic and foreign students to expose themselves to an actual central banking environment and undertake projects on the issues relevant to the Central Bank with the guidance from experts and professionals in the Central Bank.
ELIGIBILITY: Students pursuing Post-Graduation courses in Management / Economics / Econometrics/ Banking / Finance / Law (five year programme) can apply for summer placement during their 2nd semester.
DURATION: Maximum of 3 months during the period from April to July.
HOW TO APPLY:
Eligible students can in the prescribed form given below through their respective institutes to the respective “Control Office of Reserve Bank of India“.

If you want to intern in any period between April -July 2013, then the last date for applying for this internships would be November 30, 2012.
Its mentioned as 30th october in the RBI website. Can you please re-confirm.

i’m a 2nd yr of law student studying in dehradun. i’m interested in doing my internship in RBI.
all i want to know is that for interning in Reserv Bank Of India, new delhi where do i have to submit my form.. is it in delhi it self or its ok if i do it here in control office of RBI in dehradun.
You will have to send it to the Delhi office, Abhigyan.
I really cannot find anywhere the ‘list of projects’ they ask for in the registration form. Where do I fetch that from? Did I miss anything?
Also, would it be beneficial for me to intern with them in my 2nd semester of the 5 years than with an NGO?

We would rather advice you to do this internship when you are done with Banking Law and feel comfortable with financial terms. Else, you might not be able to get the best out of this internship. 5th year is definitely an appropriate time to do an internship at RBI. NGO internships are mainly for 1st-2nd year students.
