About RIDE INDIA: RIDE was founded in 1984. Purpose of Internship: The purpose of our Young Indian Internship Scheme is to give Indian students an opportunity to be exposed to the running of a grass roots NGO (non-government organisation) while providing them with the opportunity to contribute to a project and gain insight into rural communities in India. It aims to inspire, motivate, and educate students so that they take something away from the experience and pursue their future goals with an open mind.
About the Internship: Indian students are welcome to apply from a variety of backgrounds to assist in many areas of RIDE’s work. On completion of the program student will be provided with a letter of recognition for their work. This is an unpaid program and students. However, RIDE will provide transport during the program as well as lunch.
