Law for Aid and Welfare (LAW) is a non-governmental organization registered in Assam. The Areas of Operation, however, extend to the states of WEST BENGAL, BIHAR and MEGHALAYA besides ASSAM.
LAW look forward to short-term/long-term internships from college students committed to human rights and willing to devote their time and energy to the legal empowerment of the poor and the marginalized. Their methods include legal awareness, legal assistance, capacity building for good governance and policy development. Interns will be expected to provide assistance in all or any of these areas.
