World Conference on Women’s Studies on 5-6 May 2016 in Sri Lanka

The 2nd Annual World Conference on Women’s Studies 2016 will be held on 5-6 May 2016 in Sri Lanka. The organizing committee of WCWS-2016 devotes itself to supply to you and all conference participants the most cutting-edge updated information relevant to women’s studies. During the conference, we will set up a series of activities including keynote presentations, technical sessions, posters, exhibitions and scientific programs related to women’s studies.

The main objective of the WCWS is to serve and benefit men and women, and women’s organizations that provide service, research, and support to women’s empowerment worldwide, as well as advocate for global gender equality by conducting policy research and designing models for their practical application. Through the exchange of information about academic empirical research and case studies in the field of women’s studies, we hope to benefit women worldwide by carefully designing, establishing, and testing grassroots programs and policies that improve women’s daily life.

We invite paper abstracts and complete panel, workshop, and roundtable proposals reflecting the conference theme and all other aspects of women’s studies and embodiment. In hosting this conference, TIIKM’s will provide a greater platform to intensify the exchange of information on results of academic empirical research and case studies in the field of women’s studies. In particular, discussions will focus on “Empowering Future Generations of Women and Girls – Empowering Humanity” by increasing education, decision making power, and securing rights and opportunities for women and girls worldwide. We hope that this most influential meeting will leave on you a deep impression and that you will find what you need for your research and get the best opportunities to start new research cooperation.
