NLS NMC (Negotiation, Mediation & Client Counselling) Competition

The Alternative Dispute Resolution Board proudly presents the second edition of our ADR competition, the NLS NMC 2016, between the 14th and 17th of April, comprising negotiation, mediation and client counselling events.
It provides an avenue where students can experience a medley of dispute resolution activities simultaneously. The previous edition of the competition was well received with participation of over 150 students. This year, we plan to host thirty-two teams from across the country in each competition.
NLS NMC 2016 is being organized in association with the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) and its coveted event, the International Commercial Mediation Competition (ICMC). The winners of the Mediation competition would secure an automatic place at Competition in Paris in 2017.
Further, the Negotiation rounds at the competition shall act as the National Qualifier Rounds for the International Negotiation Competition (INC). Consequently, the winners would represent India at the international rounds at the University of Lucerne in Switzerland this year.
We are also partnering with the Young Mediator’s Initiative (YMI) and the Bangalore International Mediation, Arbitration and Conciliation Centre (BIMACC) for technical support.
Please note the following details about the competition:
