INBA Academic Tour for Indian Law Students to U.S.A

It is a great pride to share you with the news that Indian National Bar Association (INBA) in association with Vanderbilt Law School is organizing an Educational Tour for Indian Law Students to U.S.A.

Duration: 4th – 14th September, 2016

Purpose of the Tour:
This tour has been planned to provide law students an overview of Legal Education and Law Practice in United States.

Students of 4th & 5th year from five year integrated LL.B courses and students of 2nd & 3rd year from three year LL.B courses are eligible.
Students securing first division throughout their previous semesters / years of their course
Should be proficient in speaking and understanding English.
Must have received a Non Objection Certificate from his / her college for the tour.
Must have consent from parents and an undertaking duly signed by them.
Must have an Indian Passport with a validity up to 2 years
Note : 2nd & 3rd Year Student of Five Year LL.B course can also apply for the tour

To and fro economy class air travel
Baggage allowance as per the airline policy
To and fro Airport Transfers
A welcome reception at Vanderbilt Law School
4 lectures by Vanderbilt law School Faculty on different topics
Certificate of completion by Vanderbilt Law School
One or two Cultural excursions in Nashville
Visit to Hon’ble Supreme Court of US
Visit to US Capitol
Visit to United Nations Headquarters
Visit to Law Colleges / Universities in US
Visit to the tourist spots of New York
Visit to Law Firm Offices in New York & Washington D.C.
Visit to Bar Association office
Accommodation & Food during the tour
A letter of Visa
Visa Fees
Any Increase in Airfare, Visa Fees, Airport Taxes, Govt. Taxes, Fuel Surcharges and any of new Taxes from Government.
Cost of Air ticket deviation charges
Any increase in the rate of exchange leading to an increase in all arrangements which may come in to effect prior to departure
Cost of pre or post tour hotel accommodation & sim card (and calls made during the tour)
Any extra cost incurred on behalf of an individual due to illness, accident, hospitalisation, or any personal emergency or any medical insurance
Any service or activity charges (including entrance fees) other than those included in the itinerary
To and fro Air Fare, Airport Transfers, Visa fees to join/leave the group and Airport snack hamper for joining and leaving guests
Anything specifically not mentioned in the ‘inclusions’ column
Fees/Cost & Payment:
The approximate total cost of the tour is INR 1,70,000 – 2,00,000
To confirm their participation for the tour, one has to pay upfront initial reservation charges of INR 50,000 latest by 10th May, 2016
Last date to make remaining amount is 20th May, 2016
Fee shall be paid through Demand Draft, drawn in favour of “Indian National Bar Association”
