The Public Health Foundation of India (PHFI) is inviting Indian national to apply for Emmes Scholarship. This scholarship (full/ half/ part) fund will be available to students enrolling for Master of Public Health (MPH) programs at IIPHs (Delhi NCR, Gandhinagar and Hyderabad).
PHFI is helping to build institutional and systems capacity in India for strengthening education, training, research and policy development in the area of Public Health.
The Public Health Foundation of India (PHFI) is a public private initiative that has collaboratively evolved through consultations with multiple constituencies including Indian and international academia, state and central governments, multi & bi-lateral agencies and civil society groups.
Students need to demonstrate that they have a good level of written and spoken English.
Course Level: Scholarship is available for pursuing on-campus (full time) Master of Public Health (MPH) programs at IIPHs (Delhi NCR, Gandhinagar and Hyderabad).
Study Subject: Scholarship is awarded in the area of public health.

Eligibility: The course is open to candidates with a bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university, with at least 50% marks. Preference will be given to applicants having a graduate/bachelor’s degree in any of the following fields – medical, dental, physiotherapy, nursing and paramedical sciences; veterinary sciences; management; natural sciences (including biology); social sciences and social work; engineering; law; commerce or accounting; communication; etc. Relevant work experience in health or development sector will be an advantage but not mandatory
Nationality: Emmes scholarship would only be offered to the Indian nationals.
College Admission Requirement
Entrance Requirement: Candidates with a bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university, with at least 50% marks ca apply.
Test Requirement: No
English Language Requirement: Students need to demonstrate that they have a good level of written and spoken English.
Supporting Material: The following documents should be securely attached to the Application Form:
-In case of SC/ST/OBC, an attested copy certifying applicants status issued by the Competent Authority
-In case of PH C/VHC/hearing impaired, an attested copy of health certificate issued by a Competent Authority
-The applicants would be required to submit a certificate of NOT belonging to socially advance persons/sections (Creamy Layer) issued by the appropriate authority
-The applicants need to submit a family income proof, attested and issued by the Competent Authority

How to Apply: Completed application along with Course application form and all necessary enclosures should be sent by post.
