National workshop on Doctrinal Legal Research is organised by Centre for Criminology & Victimology and Professor Theodore Eisenberg Centre for Empirical Legal Research. The training in doctrinal research is highly demanded yet a much neglected area in legal research. The legal scholars and teachers have many misconceptions about doctrinal method of legal research. Due to lack of proper training in this methodology, doctrinal research has almost reduced to an arbitrary barely qualifying the status of research output.
