Fall 2016 Undergraduate Internship

The Brennan Center for Justice at New York University School of law is offering a Fall 2016 Undergraduate Internship based in Washington DC. The intern will assist with general administrative and clerical work for the Brennan Center, including filing, photocopying, answering phones, shipping and mailing, coordinating meetings, and drafting routine correspondence. Additionally the successful candidate will conduct research on a wide range of issues in both our Democracy and Justice programs, assist with legislative tracking, and accompany staff to meetings on the Hill. The successful applicant will also have a passion for social justice and excellent written and verbal communication skills. The deadline for this vacancy is 1. August 2016.

Internal Communications and Office Management Intern

The Women’s International League for Peace and Freedom (WILPF) is hiring a qualified Internal Communications and Office Management Intern located in Geneva. He/She will organise the Executive Committee meetings and assist with other internal meetings. Among the duties of this position is furthermore to assist the Office Manager in day – to – day administration and finance work. Among the duties of this position is also to assist in organising side events at the United Nations, such as arranging logistics for the events. She/He will have a Bachelor Degree or equivalent in communications, business and administration, public administration, information and technology science, library and information science, or related studies with interest in non – profit and grassroots organisation. The deadline for this vacancy is 19. June 2016.

 

Media Intern

Alkarama is hiring a Media Intern located in Geneva. He/She will manage the social media networks, write and translate communiqués for the website, maintain the media contacts database and conduct research. She/He will have a Degree in Journalism, Communications, Human Rights, International Relations or other relevant subject.
