It is to bring to your kind notice that Energy Arbitration Council has been established under the aegis of Dr. Gopal Energy Foundation which is a non-profit organization working in the field of inter alia Energy Sector. The trustees of the Foundation vide resolution dated 8th June, 2016 decided to establish the said Energy Arbitration Council. This organization shall facilitate speedy and quick decisions, and resolution of disputes in the energy sector which in turn shall assist the progress of the industry in India.
Energy Arbitration Council shall provide Arbitration facilities to the stakeholders in the Energy sector relating to Power, Petroleum & Energy Gas, New & Renewable Energy, Coal, Nuclear Energy and International investments in energy sector etc.
The rules of Arbitration of the Energy Arbitration Council, the form for Empanelment of Arbitrators and the form for membership in the Energy Arbitration Council are hereby attached for your valuable comments and suggestions.
We request you to share this email with the head of the institution/legal head/CFO/CS and request them to share their views on the attached rules to enable us to finalize the same.
We request you to share your thoughts about the Energy Arbitration Council and also invite you to become the member. Kindly send your comments and suggestions by 25th June, 2016.
