“Registration Open for Seminar on Cyber Crime for childrens & Parents.”

Social Umbrella is  planning to conduct a seminar on “Cyber Crime” for school students and parents. We have witnessed a huge surge in cyber crime in the recent past – a menace affecting a huge number of children and youth. According to the report of Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India for January 2015, the cyber crime in India touched a figure of 3,00,000. Hacking, data theft, cyber bullying and even cyber extortion has been on a constant rise.

Social Umbrella is therefore planning to conduct a seminar to help spread awareness on this issue. We strongly believe that children who use internet at a very young age must be educated about the usage of internet. Ignorance can result in their becoming victim of cyber crime, further leading to emotional and mental trauma. To make a fake profile in social media network and usage of that profile is illegal.

During the seminar the focus will be on education about cyber crime. It is useful and mandatory for the children to know –

What is cyber crime?
How they are affected by it?
Message to the parents from our team is “Teach kids safety before they go online”.

A presentation will be given cyber crime, cyber law and how to protect your child from it.

Each member will be given a participation certificate and top three participants will be felicitated with an award

Seminar date : 26th June 2016
Time : 2 pm – 5 pm
Venue : Connaught Place, New Delhi.
