1st National Level Essay Competition, 2016-17 (Organised by Enhelion in association with Scriboard – Advocates & Legal Consultants)

Enhelion in Association with Scriboard – Advocates & Legal Consultants, is organizing a National Level Essay Competition for the students of law in India. The aim of this competition, is to provide a platform for law students to express their opinions/views on recent issues in the domain of law. The ultimate goal is to induct creative and talented students for several paid working opportunities (Part Time) under our “Earn while Learn” Scheme.

Top 20 Winners will get a chance to work with a Startup where each student will be paid a stipend under our “Earn while Learn”™ scheme.

 

Who can participate?

All students pursuing any Undergraduate (Five Years Law or Three Years Law Degree Course) or
Post Graduate courses (pursuing Master of Laws or an equivalent master’s degree in law) from a recognized college/institute/university in India.
Individual authors or Co – authorship, upto two authors, are permitted.
Registration and Fees

The Registration Fee (per submission) for this Competition is Rs. 1000 (Rupees One Thousand Only) payable at the time of abstract submission, to be paid online or through Demand Draft (DD) only.

Clarification: Registration fee charged is per submission. Maximum co-authorship is allowed to two authors therefore the co-authors may divide the registration fee within themselves.

 

How to participate?

STEP 1

Submit your abstract [Not more than 500 words] on one of the topics in the prescribed format along with the Registration Fee. Both Abtract and the payment of the registration fee, have to be done on this link: REGISTER NOW within the deadline

STEP 2

On the abstract being selected, the participant[s] would have to submit their complete essay in the prescribed format. The essay has to be submitted to info@enhelion.com with the subject title – “Essay Submission- 1st National Level Essay Competition, 2016-17) along with a covering letter mentioning your Full Name, College/University/Institute Name and Topic.

It is hereby informed to all interested students that the submission made by any other way will not amount to a proper submission and the entry will not be considered.

Submission Guidelines

Abstract

The Abstract should not be more than 500 Words. The Abstract should be submitted along with the cover letter (including your name, phone number, name of college/ university and you address of correspondence) in the body of the email.

Essay

The essays submitted by the participants must be in ‘English’ language only.
The essay must be typed in Microsoft Word with Times New Roman, Font size 12, 1.5 linear spacing and Justified. Footnotes [optional] should be in Uniform Method of Citation.
Adding footnotes is optional
Essay should have original language
Plagiarism of any kind will immediately lead to the disqualification of the candidate. This rule applies to Abrstact submissions as well.

Third Prize: Rs. 5,000/ + Certificate of Merit + Paid Working Opportunity with a Startup under our “Earn while Learn”™ Scheme + Free Certificate Course [certified by Enhelion] + a chance to Intern with a Practicing Advocate in Hon’ble High Court of Delhi + A Letter of Recommendation from Mr. Rodney D. Ryder, Partner- Scriboard – Advocates & Legal Consultants.

Consolation Prize

Other than the above three Awards, 10 other Essays will be given a Consolation Prize of Rs. 1,000/- each + Certificate of Appreciation + Paid Working Opportunity with Start up under our “Earn while Learn”™ Scheme + Free Certificate Course [certified by Enhelion]

The Authors of Top 20 Submissions will be given an Internship Opportunity with Scriboard.

Top 20 Winners Get the Chance to Work with A Startup under The “Earn while Learn”™ Scheme

All Participants will get Certificate of Participation and Free Course Access [certified by Enhelion].

February 10, 2017 – Final Results

The name of the winners will be displayed on www.enhelion.com on February 10, 2017.
