INTERNATIONAL SEMINAR ORGANIZED BY DEPARTMENT OF LAW, UNIVERSITY OF CALICUT, KERALA  AND INDIAN CRIMINOLOGY & FORENSIC SCIENCE ASSOCIATION (ICFSA) ON 15th  & 16th  DECEMBER, 2017

 

Indian Criminology & Forensic Science Association (ICFSA) and Department of Law, University of Calicut, Kerala is hosting an international seminar on 15th& 16th December, 2017 at EMS Seminar Complex, Calicut University Campus. The key theme of the seminar is ‘Enhance Criminology & Forensic Science- Ensure Justice’.

The sub-themes of this seminar are listed below

 

·       Criminology

·       Penology

·       Victimology

·       Forensic Science& Criminal Investigation

·       Forensic Medicine

·       Cyber Crime and Cyber Forensics

Call for papers: Papers are invited in the above mentioned sub-themes. The submission of abstract may be made by November 15, 2017.  The abstract shall be written in English and follow the Doc format. The word limit is 300. Camera ready copy of the full length paper, formulated on MS word (A4 size) in Times New Roman font, letter size 12 in one and half line spacing should be submitted by December 1, 2017 with following details:

·       Title of  paper and therelevant Sub-theme

·       Name of the author(s)

·       Author Affiliation

·       Contact e-mail, mobile number

Registration fee includes Seminar Kit, 2 lunches, 4 high Tea, 1 breakfast and 1 dinner.

 

Accommodation charges: Accommodation will be provided for the delegates on sharing basis in the Calicut University guest house on first come and first serve basis and chargeable as per norms. The remaining delegates would be accommodated in the nearby hotels on advance booking basis.

Tariff: Calicut University Guest house: Rs.100/- per day (Non-AC), Rs. 350/- per day (AC) Hotel: Rs.1000/- (Twin Sharing) per day to 2500/- (Single Occupancy)per day.

Mode of payment: The registration fees including the accommodation charges shall be paid by way of NEFT/RTGS (Electronic transfer) or by deposit to the following Bank Account of Indian Criminology & Forensic Science Association, Account No.:- 32695002689, SBI, Thrissur, Kerala, IFSC Code: SBIN0000940. Also, by the way of Demand Draft drawn in favor of Indian Criminology & Forensic Science Association payable at SBI, Thrissur.The registration fee once tendered will not be refunded in any case.

Travel: The venue is Seminar Complex, Calicut University Campus, which is approximately 20. kms away from the city, Kozhikode/Calicut. Calicut University is well connected with South Central Railway, NH 66 and by air. Nearest railway stations are Parappanagadi, Feroke and Kozhikode. The Karipur Airport (Code: CCJ) is 8 km from the venue.
