In consonance with the decision taken by Wardha Committee, the Jamia Millia Islamia is accredited to being a pioneer institution to translate the vision of Mahatma Gandhi and Dr. Zakir Husain pertaining to Basic Education into reality. The erstwhile ‘Ustadon ka Madarsa’ now Faculty of Education reminds us of historic journey of Education in India that was once championed by the forefathers of Jamia. The Xth issue of the Journal seeks to invite the scholarly Articles/Research Papers from the practicing school teachers, teacher educators, teachers of Higher Education Institutions, policy makers, curriculum designers or the ones involved in bringing innovation in education working in different capacities on the theme.
