Of the five posts, one post is reserved and suitable for Physically Challenged Persons viz. Hearing Impairment with disability i.e., Deaf (D) or Hard of Hearing (HH) and other posts are suitable for Physically Challenged Persons viz. Visual Impairment /Locomotor Disability / Cerebral Palsy/Leprosy Cured/ Dwarfism/ Acid Attack Victims and Muscular Dystrophy with Multiple Disabilities i.e. Low Vision (LV) or One arm affected (Right or Left) (OA) or One leg affected (Right or Left) (OL) or One Arm and One Leg Affected (OAL) or Both Legs effected but not arms (BL) or Leprosy Cured (LC) or Dwarfism (DW) or Acid Attack Victim (AAV) or Muscular Dystrophy (MDy) or Multiple Disabilities (MD). The posts are permanent.

Pay Scale: Level-7 in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC. General Central Service, Group ‘B’, Gazetted Non- Ministerial.

Age: 30 years.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATIONAL: (A) Degree in Law from a recognized University or Institution.

NOTE: – Qualifications are relaxable at the discretion of the Union Public Service Commission for reasons to be recorded in writing, in the case of candidates

otherwise well qualified.

DESIRABLE:

(I) Knowledge of Commercial Law.

(II) Experience of conducting Company Law cases.

(III) Government diploma in Company Secretaries.

DUTIES: Legal/administrative in nature. Officer has to do prosecution work against companies, in all courts/tribunals of the country. HQ: New Delhi with All India Service Liability.
